Pattern using scraping technique
A technique called " scraping " is used, in which the pottery surface is coated with potting clay and the pattern is scraped off with a needle-like tool . It takes a lot of time and effort to create a warm and unique texture.
Taste of "Japanese" that touches the heartstrings
The colors, shapes, and patterns of these pottery pieces have a nostalgic feel and a mysterious charm that makes you feel at ease when you look at them. The indigo color, like ink, and the animal and flower patterns that appear in old Japanese picture books make you feel comfortable.
A cute bird standing quietly
A gentle bird resting its wings slowly. I feel the taste of the design like the round window scenery of a Japanese house. Smooth and gentle touch. You can feel the warmth of handiwork that the part of the scraped pattern is slightly bumpy.
The dining table becomes gorgeous and fun
The pattern of plants and flowers with a calm texture and the pattern of a bird standing on a pine tree are just the right amount of seasoning, so it goes well not only with a side dish but also with Japanese sweets and green tea.
Because each piece is handmade, there are individual differences such as color, shape, size, weight, glaze unevenness, glaze pooling, glaze shrinkage, and subtle differences in design. In addition, there may be differences in the degree of glaze, shading of the pattern due to the scraping technique, pinholes, iron powder (black spots), dust, and stone cracks, but there is no problem in using it. Please enjoy it as a unique expression unique to handmade. You can't choose which item you receive, but we hope you'll look forward to it until it arrives. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a separate photo, so please feel free to contact us.

|〇Because it is semi-porcelain, there is basically no need to seal it. We recommend that you seal the cups so that the colors don't stick to them.
〇Please refrain from using the microwave oven for gold and silver colored plates.
|Understanding of "Utsuwa"|
〇Because each product is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, uneven colors and shading will appear.
〇Because the painting is also hand-painted one by one, the expression may differ.
〇 Depending on the product, there may be small holes, small black dots, line scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, or distortion due to the manufacturing process.
〇 We have processed the image of the product so that the color is as close to the real thing as possible, but the color and texture may look different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone.
〇In our shop, we not only inspect the manufacturer, pottery, and artist, but also deliver products that have passed the final inspection at our store.
〇 Product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be the same in detail.
〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer's convenience. Please purchase after understanding and acknowledging this.
〇 We would be happy if you could enjoy the “taste” and “interest” of handmade products that are not found in factory mass-produced products!
