Droplet pattern that shines in candy glaze
The gorgeous amber color and the drop pattern drawn on the rim. The pattern of individual drops coming from alternating directions is beautiful, and it enhances the food you serve and creates a gorgeous dining table.
More graceful with Itchin technique
Itchin technique involves filling a rubber dropper with makeup soil and drawing raised lines. When the thick mud is squeezed out of the dropper, the beautiful pattern of DEW (drops) is created on the plate because it resembles a drop.
For a nice brunch at home
The rim has an elegant drop pattern, so it seems to go well with Western dishes such as quiche, lasagna, and doria. It's also great on French toast or bruschetta.
Relaxing tea time
When you put cake, apple pie, pancakes with plenty of syrup on it, both the sweets and the plate look beautiful and you will fall in love with it. Enjoy a luxurious tea time surrounded by a cozy atmosphere.
Because each item is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, uneven glaze/glaze pools, and subtle differences in pattern. In addition, there may be differences in the degree of glaze application, fading, pinholes, and iron powder (sunspots), but this does not cause any problems with use. Please enjoy the unique expression that can only be achieved by handmade products. Although you cannot choose which item you receive, we hope that you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us before shipping and we will email you a separate photo.

From 2006 | While working at a Mino ware manufacturer, an art museum, and a trading company, I explored ways to make pottery that I could do. After graduating from the Institute of Design, I was invited to join the fine stoneware research group. Falling deep into the present |
Fine stoneware |
Seiseki is a type of pottery made from unused yellow clay produced in the Mino region of Gifu Prefecture in the early Showa period. At that time, white clay was considered to be of high quality, and the large quantities of loess that could be extracted remained unused. However, the pottery and the Gifu Prefectural Ceramics Experiment Station cooperated in research and development, and around 1935, manufacturing and decoration techniques were developed. It was completed. White makeup clay is applied over a soft, light yellow base that is as fine as porcelain, and by layering decorations such as decoration, coloring, and painting, it is finished with an elegant, beautiful, and refined texture. |

Understanding about “Utsuwa” |
〇As each item is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze or clay, uneven colors and shading will appear. 〇As each piece is hand-painted, the expression may vary. 〇Due to the manufacturing process, small holes, small black spots, line scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbles, and distortions may be seen depending on the product. 〇Product images are processed to be as close to the actual color as possible, but the color and texture may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. 〇At our store, we deliver products that have not only been inspected by the manufacturer, pottery, and artist, but also passed a final inspection at our store. 〇Product photos are sample photos, so the items you receive will not be the same in every detail. 〇We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and understand this before purchasing. 〇We would be happy if you could enjoy the ``taste'' and ``interest'' that are unique to handmade products that cannot be found in factory mass-produced products! |
