Collection: Adachinopottery
In Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, ``Seiseki'' is a type of pottery made from loess covered with clay to create elegant decorations. Fine stoneware has been made in the Mino region since the early Showa period, but production gradually ceased as society demanded greater production efficiency. After a break of about 30 years, the quality of handmade craftsmanship began to be reconsidered, and a trend was born to pass on the techniques once again. The creator, Akane Adachi, uses her fine stoneware skills to create pottery that brings the fluff of everyday life and touches the heart.
