Feeling nostalgic
Just looking at these lovely dishes will make you feel soft and gentle. They are made with the hope that everyone will enjoy using them. They are soothing dishes that will make you smile and feel warm and fuzzy.

Boys and girls in gym clothes and swimsuits, and adorable animals such as cats and dogs. Watanuki likes things that make her feel nostalgic, and she mainly creates motifs of things that remind her of her elementary school days. Her drawings bring back fond memories of her fun days as an elementary school student.

Warm milky white, light blue like a clear, cloudless sky, yellow like a sunflower blooming cheerfully towards the sun... The gentle, soft colors and patterns are appealing, reminiscent of the crayon drawings on drawing paper we made as children.

These adorable motifs have a pleasant combination of soft colors and matte textures. When you line them up on the dining table, you can see boys and girls, cats and dogs moving around, making you feel cheerful and happy.

Because each piece is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, uneven glaze, glaze pools, slight wobble, patterns, and designs. Also, there may be differences in the amount of glaze applied, crazing, pinholes, or iron powder (black spots), but this does not affect the use of the item. Please enjoy the unique expressions that can only be achieved through handmade products. You cannot choose which item you will receive, but we hope you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo separately.

* If you seal the pores before using it for the first time, it will be less likely to get dirty and you can use it more cleanly. If you find it difficult to seal the pores, you can soak it in water before use to make it less likely to get dirty, stained, or smelly. * After use, wash it as soon as possible and dry it thoroughly. |
Understanding of "Utsuwa" |
*Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading. *Each piece is hand painted, so the expression may vary. Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process. *We process the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. *In addition to inspection by the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, we only deliver products that have passed final inspection at our store. *The product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be identical in every detail. * We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree before making a purchase. We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" that can only come from something handmade, not mass-produced in a factory! |
