Gentle and comforting for your table
Soft, overlapping colors that look as if they were delicately painted with watercolors. The smoky tones and unique matte glaze create an alluring, hazy, and dreamlike appearance set within calm shades. There is a sense of nostalgia and a gentle quality that allows you to let your guard down and relax.
Because of their simple shape, the color combinations created by the way the glaze is applied and the slight variations from the handmade process are striking. It is the gentleness left by the artisan's touch that you can feel precisely because they are not overly perfected. Every time you use them, you will find a unique character belonging to that particular piece.
They blend seamlessly into your daily meals, making your everyday dishes feel just a little bit more special. Whether it's breakfast bread, seasonal fruits, or dinner side dishes, they also serve beautifully when hosting guests. Beyond brightening up your table, they have a presence that makes you want to keep them on display in your cupboard as a part of your daily life, even when not in use.
They bring with them the promise that everyday meals will become a little more delightful. While accompanying you through those casual moments, they soften your heart each time you use them. These are pieces that help you cherish not just special occasions, but even the most ordinary days.
As each piece is handmade, there are individual differences such as color, shape, thickness, size, weight, glaze unevenness, pools of glaze, stone inclusions, slight wobbling, and subtle variations in patterns or designs. Furthermore, some items may show differences in glazing, crazing, pinholes, or iron powder (black spots), but these do not affect usage. Please enjoy these expressions as unique characteristics of handmade work. While you cannot choose which individual item you will receive, we hope you look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping and we will be happy to email you separate photographs.

| Care instructions and notes from Mami Furukawa |
| 〇 For earthenware and heat-resistant ceramics, please perform "medome" (seasoning) before the first use. 〇 To season, boil rice porridge, or cook water with a little rice in it. The key is to use low heat to avoid burning. 〇 Leaving moisture on the ceramics after washing can cause mold, so please dry them thoroughly before storing. 〇 We hope you enjoy the gradual changes as they develop more character with use. |
| Understanding our "ceramics" |
|
〇 Because each piece is handmade, individual differences occur in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, color unevenness and shading will occur. 〇 Since paintings are also drawn one by one by hand, expressions may vary. 〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, small black spots, fine scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or warping. 〇 Although we process images to be as close as possible to the actual colors, colors and textures may look different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. 〇 We deliver products that have passed not only the inspections of manufacturers, kilns, and artists, but also our own final inspections. 〇 Product photos are of samples; no two delivered items are identical in detail. 〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience. Thank you for your understanding. 〇 We hope you enjoy the "charm" and "character" unique to handmade items that cannot be found in mass-produced factory goods! |
