cute quail pattern
One of the traditional kneading techniques called ``Uzura-te'', which was named because of its resemblance to the pattern of quail feathers. The combination of calming blue and white gives a wonderful accent to the table.
Expressive “kneading technique”
We use a technique called ``Neri-komi,'' which involves combining clay of different colors or stacking them alternately to create patterns. The kneading technique creates a unique distortion that creates a soft expression.
Beautiful pattern on the outside and inside
It has a beautiful quail pattern not only on the outside but also on the inside, making it really cute. Matte texture and gentle touch. The width of the handle is about 2 cm, making it easy to grip and stable.
Take a break
Mugs are often used for different purposes, such as for the home or office. There's nothing special about drinking a warm drink like coffee or tea while looking at your favorite mug. May your enjoyable break time become a richer time.
Because each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, uneven glaze, glaze pools, and subtle differences in patterns and patterns. In addition, there may be differences in the degree of glaze, pinholes, or iron powder (sunspots), but this does not pose a problem for use. Please enjoy the unique expression that can only be achieved by handmade products. Although you cannot choose which item you receive, we hope that you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo.

Recommended care methods from Hanako Sakashita |
〇No special care such as sealing is required before use. 〇The back part is not glazed, so it gets dirty easily. Please wash it as soon as possible after use, dry it well and store it. If you are concerned about stains, I think it would be a good idea to soak it in oxygen bleach. |
Understanding about “Utsuwa” |
〇As each item is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze or clay, uneven colors and shading will appear. 〇As each piece is hand-painted, the expression may vary. 〇Due to the manufacturing process, small holes, small black spots, line scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbles, and distortions may be seen depending on the product. 〇Product images are processed to be as close to the actual color as possible, but the color and texture may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. 〇At our store, we deliver products that have not only been inspected by the manufacturer, pottery, and artist, but also passed a final inspection at our store. 〇Product photos are sample photos, so the items you receive will not be the same in every detail. 〇We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and understand this before purchasing. 〇We would be happy if you could enjoy the ``taste'' and ``interest'' that are unique to handmade products that cannot be found in factory mass-produced products! |
