Soft white, gentle to the touch

The soft, milky white color feels smooth and moist to the touch. The rust glaze on the edges, which varies in shade, tightens the overall look, making the circles appear even more vivid and soothing to the soul.

Warmth is conveyed through washi dyeing

The technique used is "washi dyeing," in which a design is drawn on washi paper, cut out, and pasted onto the base material to transfer the color. The finished product has a gentle texture with a touch of fading and bleeding.

A cute bear pops out

The bear stands on two legs, as if watching over us from afar. Its puzzled expression is heartwarming.

Great for main dishes and sweets

The dish is about 1.5cm deep, so you can safely serve dishes with liquid. It's perfect for pasta, omelet rice, curry rice, French toast, and more. It also adds a cute touch to cakes and sweets.

Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight, blurring or bleeding of the pattern, and slight distortions. Furthermore, depending on the degree of glaze applied, each piece will have different characteristics, such as the degree of firing color, pinholes, and iron powder (black spots). Please enjoy these unique expressions that can only be found in handmade items. While you cannot choose which item you will receive, we hope you will look forward to receiving it. If you have any concerns, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo separately.

HARAMURA Toshiyuki

2007 He was strongly attracted to the charm of Hizen porcelain, such as Ko-Imari and Nabeshima, and studied at a ceramics school and under artists in Arita, Saga Prefecture, the birthplace of Japanese porcelain.
2010 He established his own company, "2020 Pottery Factory," in Hidaka City, Saitama Prefecture, and mainly produces porcelain tableware, including white, blue-and-white, and blue-and-white.

Recommended care methods and precautions from Toshiyuki Haramura

Porcelain is not absorbent, so there is no need to seal it by boiling or other methods before use. You can use it as is. Please refrain from using it in a microwave or oven. Ceramics may crack due to sudden changes in temperature. To remove stains such as tea stains, please use kitchen bleach.

Understanding of "Utsuwa"
Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading.
〇Since each piece is painted by hand, the expression may vary.
Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattles, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process.
〇We have processed the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone.
〇Our store not only inspects products from manufacturers, kilns, and artists, but also delivers products that have passed final inspection at our store.
*Product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive may not be identical in every detail.
*We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand this before purchasing.
We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" of handmade products that you won't find in mass-produced products from factories!
