Soft white, gentle to the touch
The soft, milky white color feels smooth and moist to the touch. The shading of the rust glaze on the edges tightens the overall look, making the flavor even more vibrant, and just looking at it will soothe your soul.
Warmth is conveyed through washi dyeing
We use a technique called "washi dyeing," in which a design is drawn on washi paper, cut out, and pasted onto the base material to transfer the color. The finished product has a gentle texture with a touch of fading and bleeding.
The warm and stylish horse design, reminiscent of Japanese folk art and the Swedish Dalarna horse, is a nice accent.
Also great as a main dish or dessert
The dish is about 1.5cm deep, so you can safely serve dishes with liquid. It's perfect for pasta, omelet rice, curry rice, French toast, and more. It also adds a cute touch to cakes and sweets.
Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight, blurring or bleeding of the pattern, and slight distortions. Furthermore, depending on the degree of glaze applied, each piece will have different characteristics, such as the degree of firing color, pinholes, and iron powder (black spots). Please enjoy these unique expressions that can only be found in handmade items. While you cannot choose which item you will receive, we hope you will look forward to receiving it.
