Soft white and shape
It's a soft, milky white. Its moist, smooth texture feels great to the touch, and the rounded handle fits comfortably in your fingers. When you pick it up, you can't help but stare at it.

Warmth is conveyed through washi dyeing
We use a technique called "washi dyeing," in which a design is drawn on washi paper, cut out, and pasted onto the base material to transfer the color. The finished product has a gentle texture with a touch of fading and bleeding.

A cute and fluffy hedgehog
They have about 5,000 needles growing on their backs to protect them from predators, and their cute expressions include round eyes and a pointy, upturned nose. The contrast between their pointy needles and their fluffy, adorable expressions is adorable.

The other side features a mushroom design dyed with washi paper, which makes you smile.

Warmth of edge rust and toshinogi
The rust on the rim and the serrated edges on the bottom of the mug nicely tone down the soft milky white, and also highlight the adorable hedgehog and mushroom design, creating a lovely appearance.

Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight, blurring or bleeding of the pattern, and slight distortions. Furthermore, depending on the degree of glaze applied, each piece will have different characteristics, such as the degree of firing color, pinholes, and iron powder (black spots). Please enjoy these unique expressions that can only be found in handmade items. While you cannot choose which item you will receive, we hope you will look forward to receiving it. If you have any concerns, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo separately.

| Recommended care methods and precautions from Toshiyuki Haramura |
|
Porcelain is not absorbent, so there is no need to seal it by boiling or other methods before use. You can use it as is. Please refrain from using it in a microwave or oven. Ceramics may crack due to sudden changes in temperature. To remove stains such as tea stains, please use kitchen bleach. |
| Understanding of "Utsuwa" |
| Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading. 〇Since each piece is painted by hand, the expression may vary. Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattles, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process. 〇We have processed the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. 〇In addition to inspection by the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, we only deliver products that have passed final inspection at our store. *Product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive may not be identical in every detail. *We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand this before purchasing. We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" of handmade products that you won't find in mass-produced products from factories! |
