A delightful harmony of sophistication and warmth

Porcelain with a soft, earthenware-like texture and a gentle, milk-white color, combined with a moist, comfortable feel in the hand. Despite its sleek form, it exudes the warmth of handmade craftsmanship, making it a joy to reach for every day.

Harada Toshiyuki's free cup Kitori

"Everyday, easy-to-use tableware." With this in mind, the pieces are carefully crafted, considering usability, ease of holding, and even the feel on the lips. The gentle, bleeding patterns created by the "washi dyeing" technique, which transfers designs drawn on washi paper to the raw clay, and the deep rusty glaze on the rim, add a quiet charm to the simple design.

The adorable animals look as if they're about to start chatting. The blurs and bleeding become part of the scene, making you smile when your eyes meet. This subtle playfulness brings gentleness and comfort to everyday life.

Serve toast in the morning, enjoy freshly brewed coffee, or arrange your favorite sweets. Everyday meals can become a little richer, a little more exciting. The more you use them, the more attached you'll become, and before you know it, they'll be indispensable to your life.

As each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight,かすれ (fading/blurring) and にじみ (bleeding) of the pattern, and subtle distortions. Also, depending on the application of the glaze, the firing color, pinholes, iron spots (black dots), and other characteristics will vary. Please enjoy these unique expressions as characteristics of handmade items. You cannot choose which item you receive, but we hope you will look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping, and we will email you separate photos.

Recommended Care and Precautions from Toshiyuki Haramura

〇 Although we use wheel-forming and mold-forming, subtle distortions may occur due to the handmade nature. Mold-formed pieces tend to distort more easily, but we hope you can enjoy this as part of the handmade charm.
〇 The base material is porcelain clay. Porcelain is non-absorbent, so there is no need to boil it or seal it before first use. You can use it as is. Black dots (iron powder) contained in the base material may appear on the surface.

〇 Please refrain from using microwave ovens or ovens. Although the probability is low, cracking may occur depending on the usage conditions.
〇 When removing stains such as tea stains, we recommend using kitchen bleach.

 Understanding "Tableware"
〇 As each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be color variations and nuances.
〇 Since each painting is hand-drawn, the expressions may differ.
〇 Depending on the product and manufacturing process, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, and distortions may be observed.
〇 While we process images to be as close to the actual color as possible, the color and texture may appear differently depending on your computer or smartphone display.
〇 We deliver items that have passed not only the inspections of the manufacturer, kiln, and artist but also our final inspection.
〇 Product photos are samples, so no two delivered items will be exactly alike down to the finest detail.
〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree to this before purchasing.
〇 We hope you will enjoy the "flavor" and "charm" unique to handmade items, which mass-produced factory goods do not have!
