A pleasing harmony of sophistication and warmth

Despite being porcelain, it has the soft appearance of earthenware and a gentle milk-like white color, with a moist texture that fits comfortably in the hand. Within its clean form, the warmth of handcrafted work breathes, offering a comfort that naturally makes you reach for it every day.

原村俊之さんのフリーカップKうさぎ

"Everyday tableware that can be used casually every day." With this sentiment in mind, the pieces are carefully crafted, considering usability, ease of holding, and even the feel on the lips. The "washi-zome" technique, where patterns drawn on Japanese paper are transferred to the base, creates a gently blurred expression, while the depth of the rust glaze applied to the rim adds a subtle charm to the simplicity.

Animals with an adorable demeanor that look as if they're about to start chatting. Faintness and blurring become part of the scenery, making you involuntarily smile when your eyes meet. This subtle playfulness brings gentleness and comfort to your daily life.

Serving toast in the morning, enjoying freshly brewed coffee, or arranging your favorite snacks. Your ordinary daily table transforms into a slightly richer, more exhilarating time. As you use them, your affection will deepen, and before you know it, they will become indispensable to your life.

Due to being handmade one by one, there are individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight,かすれやにじみ (fading and bleeding of patterns), and subtle distortions. Also, depending on the application of the glaze, the firing color, pinholes, and iron spots (black dots) will vary in appearance. Please enjoy these as unique expressions of handmade craftsmanship. While you cannot choose which item you receive, we hope you look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping, and we can email you separate photos.

Recommended Care and Precautions from Toshiyuki Haramura

〇Although both wheel-throwing and mold-pressing are used, subtle distortions occur due to the handmade nature. Mold-pressed works tend to be more easily distorted, but we hope you enjoy the handmade character that comes with it.
〇Porcelain clay is used for the body. Since porcelain has no water absorption, there is no need to pre-boil or seal it before first use. You can use it as is. Also, black spots (iron specks) contained in the clay may appear on the surface.

〇Please refrain from using in microwaves or ovens. Although the probability is low, cracking may occur depending on the usage conditions.
〇When removing stains such as tea stains, we recommend using kitchen bleach.

 Understanding "Tableware"
〇Each piece is handmade, so there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, color variations and shades will occur.
〇As each piece is hand-painted, expressions may vary.
〇Depending on the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, small black dots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbles, or distortions.
〇While we strive to process images to bring them as close as possible to the actual product's color, the color and texture may appear different depending on your computer or smartphone display.
〇We deliver items that have passed not only the inspection of the manufacturer, kiln, or artist but also our final inspection.
〇Product photos are sample shots, so the item you receive will not be identical in every detail.
〇We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree before purchasing.
〇We would be delighted if you could enjoy the "flavor" and "interest" unique to handmade items, which mass-produced factory items do not possess!
