A delightful harmony of sophistication and warmth

Despite being porcelain, these pieces possess a soft, ceramic-like texture and a gentle, milky-white color, with a smooth feel that nestles comfortably in your hand. Within their clean forms, the warmth of handcrafted artistry breathes, offering a comfort that makes you instinctively reach for them every day.

With the desire to create "everyday tableware that can be used casually," each piece is carefully crafted with meticulous attention to usability, ease of handling, and even the feel on the lips. The "washi-zome" (Japanese paper dyeing) technique, where patterns drawn on washi paper are transferred to the ceramic body, creates a gently blurred effect. The depth of the rust glaze applied to the rim adds a subtle richness to the simple design.

The charming animals look almost ready to start a conversation. Faded lines and blurs become part of the scenery, making you meet their gaze and smile. This subtle playfulness brings gentleness and comfort to everyday life.

Whether it's for serving toast in the morning, enjoying freshly brewed coffee, or arranging your favorite snacks, these pieces transform ordinary mealtimes into slightly richer, more joyful experiences. As you use them, your affection will deepen, and before you know it, they'll become an indispensable part of your life.

Each piece is handmade, so there are individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight,かすれやにじみ of the pattern, and subtle distortions. Additionally, depending on the application of the glaze, each piece will have a different appearance with varying firing colors, pinholes, and iron spots (black dots). Please enjoy the unique expressions that only handmade items can offer. We cannot guarantee which item you will receive, but we hope you will look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping, and we will email you additional photos.

Recommended Care and Precautions from Toshiyuki Haramura

〇While throwing and press molding are used, subtle distortions may occur due to the handmade nature of the process. Press-molded pieces tend to be more prone to distortion, but we hope you will enjoy the handmade charm that results from this.
〇Porcelain clay is used for the body. Porcelain is non-absorbent, so there is no need to boil it to seal it before first use. It can be used as is. Also, black dots (iron spots) contained in the body may appear on the surface.
〇Please refrain from using in a microwave or oven. Although the probability is low, cracking may occur depending on usage conditions.
〇When removing stains such as tea residue, we recommend using kitchen bleach.

 Understanding "Tableware"
〇Each piece is handmade, so there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be variations in color and shade.
〇Since each design is hand-painted, the expressions may vary.
〇Depending on the manufacturing process, products may have small holes, small black dots, fine scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or distortions.
〇While we process images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, the colors and textures may appear different depending on your computer or smartphone display.
〇We deliver items that have passed not only the inspection of the manufacturer, kiln, or artist but also our final inspection.
〇Product photos are sample shots, so no two delivered items will be exactly the same in every detail.
〇We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer preferences. We ask for your understanding and acceptance before purchasing.
〇We hope you will enjoy the "flavor" and "interest" unique to handmade items, which mass-produced factory goods do not possess!
