The "washi-zome" technique, which transfers patterns drawn on Japanese paper to the base, creates gentle, blurred expressions, and the deep rusty glaze on the rim adds a quiet charm to the simple design.
The charming animals look almost as if they're about to start chattering. Theかすれ (fading) and滲み (bleeding) become part of the scenery, making you involuntarily meet their gaze and smile. This subtle playfulness brings gentleness and comfort to everyday life.
