This is made using a technique called carbonization, where firewood is added at the end of the firing process to smoke the pottery. The red clay turns black and the glaze turns a soft white. It is also nice that the clay is left exposed on a wide foot so that the taste of the clay can be felt.

White tableware beautifully and beautifully brings out the beauty of both the food and the dining table. The texture is semi-matte, so it feels soft and gentle to the touch.
