Each strand of fur is hand-carved, giving them a very realistic feel. Ms. Kato says she loves to observe the various movements and expressions of bears at bear ranches. This strong curiosity might be what creates their uniquely charming expressions.

As each item is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, glaze unevenness/pooling, stone inclusions, slight wobbling, and subtle differences in patterns/designs. Additionally, some items may show variations in glaze application, crazing, pinholes, or iron spots (black dots), but these do not affect usability. Please enjoy these items as unique expressions of handmade craftsmanship. You cannot choose which specific item you receive, but we hope you look forward to its arrival.
