Brings a gentle time

"器絵雑貨" (ware painting goods) was born, painted on "glass" instead of "wood". It is a solo work by his wife, Yasuyo, who is in charge of painting. The animals painted on the glass are warm and adorable, and you can't help but stare at them. The colors match the animals, and the design is pop and cute, making it a cake plate that is full of cuteness that you can look at forever.

Woodenware and Cake Plates by Ki-e Zakka

A cute picture drawn with lots of paint. The slightly puffy texture makes it even cuter. The paints used are harmless to the human body. Once completed, the picture is baked in an oven, so you can rest assured that the colors will not fade even if you wash it with water.

Pompan is adorable as he holds an apple with perfect balance.

Cupcakes, macarons, cream puffs and any other sweets are cute and fun. For a warm and happy tea time.

Kie-zakka
In their workshop in Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture, the husband and wife create original wooden goods based on the motif of a bob-haired girl named "Kie-chan." The husband is in charge of woodworking, and the wife is in charge of painting.

Recommended care methods and precautions from Ki-e Zakka
* When you first use it, wash it with a neutral detergent. Please be careful not to use abrasive sponges, metal scrubbers, cleansers, etc. that may scratch the glass as they may cause damage.
*This is not heat-resistant glass. Please note that it may break due to sudden temperature changes (especially rapid cooling). *Glass products are easily damaged when scratched. Please handle with care to avoid hitting glass with other glass or hard objects.

Understanding of "Utsuwa"
*Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading.
*Each piece is hand painted, so the expression may vary.
Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process.

*We process the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone.
*In addition to inspection by the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, we only deliver products that have passed final inspection at our store.
*The product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be identical in every detail.
* We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree before making a purchase.
We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" that can only come from something handmade, not mass-produced in a factory!
