Even within the same type of work, each one has a slightly different expression and form, weaving a little story into it. Because they are created with a three-dimensional effect, the impression and expression change depending on the way the light hits them and the angle, so you will see a new view every time you look at them.

Soft, pale colors layered on smooth, moist clay. The expressions created by combining hand-forming and potter's wheel techniques, through the carvings and layering of colors, are fantastical, like creatures encountered in a dream. Gaze upon them and you will be enveloped in a gentle world, as if your heart is gently unravelling.


The uniqueness of these figures makes them seem like they could appear in a story, and their realistic expressions make you want to stare at them without even realizing it, as if they contain quiet emotions hidden within. Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, uneven glaze, glaze drips, glaze pools, slight wobble, patterns, and facial expressions. Also, some pieces may have differences in the glaze application, crazing, pinholes, or iron powder (black spots), but this does not affect their usability.
