Bringing small stories into daily life
These vessels boast a charming world that seems to have leaped right out of a picture book. Animals and plants, looking as if they're about to spring to life, are freely and vibrantly depicted all over the vessels, warming your heart just by looking at them. Each piece has a unique expression, showcasing the loveliness that only handcrafted items possess.

All patterns are drawn freehand. Cherishing their natural undulations, the artist independently arrived at the ancient "sgraffito" technique without even knowing its name, and has since refined it into their unique expressive style. The warmth of the handcraft directly translates into the individuality of each piece, creating a profound charm.

After experimenting with various clays, the artist chose Mashiko clay, which provides the desired texture. White clay, black clay, and blended clays are used strategically according to the image of each piece, resulting in gentle and profound expressions. Despite their rustic appearance, these pieces are surprisingly thin and light, astonishing you with their lightness the moment you pick them up. In addition to their user-friendliness for daily use, the ability to warm them in the microwave is another welcome feature.

From serving your favorite snacks to daily breakfast or tea time, even ordinary moments transform into a slightly special, rewarding experience just by arranging them beautifully. These vessels will become your daily companions, making you reach for them more often, thinking, "I want to use this vessel today."

As each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, glaze unevenness/pooling, "ishihaze" (exposed feldspar), slight wobbling, and subtle variations in patterns and designs. Additionally, some pieces may have differences in glaze application, crazing, pinholes, or iron spots (black dots), but these do not affect their use. Please enjoy them as unique expressions of handmade craftsmanship. While you cannot choose which specific item you receive, we hope you look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping, and we will gladly email you additional photos.

|
〇 As each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Additionally, even with the same glaze and clay, there may be variations in color and shade. 〇 Since each design is hand-painted, the expressions may vary. 〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, small black spots, hairline scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or distortion. 〇 While we make every effort to process product images to be as close to the actual colors as possible, the color and texture may appear different depending on your computer or smartphone display. 〇 We deliver products that have passed not only the inspections of the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, but also our final inspection. 〇 Product photos are samples, so the actual item you receive will not be identical in every detail. 〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and acknowledge this before making a purchase. 〇 We hope you will enjoy the "flavor" and "interest" unique to handmade products, which are not found in mass-produced factory items! |
