Little Stories for Everyday Life
These enchanting vessels evoke a whimsical world, as if sprung from a picture book. Animals and flowers, seemingly poised to come alive, are vividly depicted across the surfaces, bringing a heartwarming cheer with every glance. Each piece possesses a unique charm, showcasing the endearing qualities of handcrafted artistry.

All patterns are drawn freehand. Embracing the subtle variations that arise from this technique, the artist independently discovered and refined the traditional "sgraffito" method, transforming it into a unique form of self-expression without even knowing its name. The warmth of this handcrafted process imbues each piece with a distinctive personality and a profound depth of character.

After experimenting with various clays, the artist chose Mashiko clay to achieve the desired texture. White clay, black clay, and blended clays are used according to the piece's concept, creating a gentle and profound aesthetic. Despite their rustic appearance, the pieces are surprisingly thin and lightweight; you'll be astonished by their lightness the moment you pick them up. In addition to their everyday practicality, the fact that they are microwave-safe for reheating is another delightful feature.

From serving your favorite snacks to everyday breakfasts or tea time, these vessels transform ordinary moments into slightly more special, rewarding experiences just by plating. You'll find yourself reaching for these pieces more often, making them cherished companions in your daily life.

As each item is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, glaze unevenness/pooling, iron spots, slight wobbling, and subtle variations in patterns. Also, some items may have variations in glaze application, crazing, pinholes, or iron spots (black dots), but these do not affect their use. Please enjoy these as unique characteristics of handmade craftsmanship. While you cannot choose which specific item you receive, we hope you look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping, and we will gladly email you additional photos.

|
〇As each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Additionally, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be color variations and gradations. 〇Since each pattern is hand-drawn, the expressions may vary. 〇Due to the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, small black dots, fine scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or distortions. 〇While we strive to process product images to be as close to the actual colors as possible, the colors and textures may appear different depending on your computer or smartphone display. 〇We deliver items that have passed not only the inspections of the manufacturer, kiln, or artist, but also our own final inspection. 〇Product photos are sample shots, so the item you receive will not be identical in every detail. 〇We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer preferences. Please understand and acknowledge this before purchasing. 〇We hope you will enjoy the "flavor" and "interest" unique to handmade items, which are not found in mass-produced factory goods! |
