A soft glow created by recycled glass

Recycled glass is made from discarded bottles and old glass windows. Used sake bottles are carefully washed, the labels removed, and melted in a furnace. Each piece is spun using the glassblowing technique, and is reborn as a piece that exudes warmth and a soft, gentle glow.

Nijinoha's Chilmergrass White

The experience and techniques he acquired at the Ryukyu Glass Studio, Okuhara Glass Factory in Okinawa. Bold yet delicate hand movements, a moment of breathing in sync with the flame. The ripples and fluctuations he creates, combining what he learned as a craftsman with his own sensibilities, seem to reflect the delicate beauty of nature, like a forest breeze or light dancing on the surface of water.

Nijinoha's Chilmergrass White

Rather than being flashy, we value the beauty of these glasses as tools that accompany your daily life. Every time you pick them up, they feel familiar and lift your spirits a little. These glasses are embodied in the beauty of utility, bringing a little joy to your everyday moments.

Nijinoha's Chilmergrass White

Light and shadow change in our daily lives. Depending on the intensity and angle of the light that shines in, the glass shimmers softly and shows various expressions. The simple, timeless design adds a gentle touch of color to the everyday dining table and seems to bring a sense of peace that gently embraces the soul.

Nijinoha's Chilmergrass White

Because each item is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, thickness, subtle differences in the molding pattern, scratches, large and small bubbles, and streaks. Please enjoy these unique features that only a handmade item can have. You cannot choose which item you will receive, but we hope you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo.

Recommended care methods and precautions from Nijinoha

Apply mild dish detergent to a soft sponge, lather thoroughly, and then wash gently.
*Please refrain from using abrasive sponges, metal scouring pads, cleansers, etc. as they may scratch or break the glass surface. *This is not heat-resistant glass, so pouring boiling water into it may cause it to break. When using, please do not pour boiling water.

Understanding of "Utsuwa"
Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading.
〇Since each piece is painted by hand, the expression may vary.
Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattles, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process.
〇We have processed the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone.
〇In addition to inspection by the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, we only deliver products that have passed final inspection at our store.
*Product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive may not be identical in every detail.
*We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand this before purchasing.
We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" of handmade products that you won't find in mass-produced products from factories!
