The soft glow born from recycled glass

Recycled glass is made from materials such as discarded bottles and old window panes. Used sake bottles are carefully washed, labels are removed, and then melted in a furnace. Each piece, crafted using the glassblowing technique, is reborn into a vessel that exudes a gentle, soft glow and a sense of warmth.

ニジノハ平岩愛子さんの高台付フリーボウル浅葱

The experience and skill acquired at the Okuhara Glass Manufacturing, a Ryukyu glass workshop in Okinawa. Bold yet delicate hand movements, moments of breathing with the flame. Based on what was learned during her time as a craftsman, the ripples and undulations spun by her own sensibilities seem to reflect the delicate beauty of nature, like the rustling breeze in a forest or the dancing light on the water's surface.

Recommended Care and Precautions from Nijinoha

〇 Please wash gently with a soft sponge and a neutral dishwashing detergent after thoroughly lathering.
〇 Please refrain from using abrasive sponges, metal scrubbers, or cleansers as they may scratch or damage the glass surface.
〇 This is not heat-resistant glass, so pouring hot water may cause it to crack. When using, please avoid pouring hot water.

 Understanding "Handcrafted Items"
〇 As each item is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there may be color variations and gradations.
〇 Since each painting is hand-drawn, the expressions may vary.
〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, tiny black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbles, or distortions.
〇 We strive to process images to bring the product photos as close as possible to the actual color, but the color and texture may appear different depending on your computer or smartphone display.
〇 We deliver items that have passed not only the inspection of the manufacturer, kiln, and artist but also our final inspection.
〇 Product photos are samples, so the delivered items will not be exactly the same in every detail.
〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer preferences. Please understand and agree to this before purchasing.
〇 We hope you enjoy the "flavor" and "interest" unique to handmade items, which cannot be found in mass-produced factory goods!
