The gentle glow created by recycled glass
Recycled glass is made from materials such as discarded bottles and old window panes. Used sake bottles are carefully washed, labels are removed, and the glass is melted in a furnace. Each piece is then spun using the glassblowing technique, resulting in vessels that radiate a soft, gentle glow and a sense of warmth.

The experience and techniques honed at the Ryukyu Glass Workshop Okuhara Glass Manufacturing in Okinawa, the bold yet delicate hand movements, and the moments spent in harmony with the flame. Based on what was learned during her time as a craftswoman, the ripples and undulations created by blending her own sensibilities seem to reflect the delicate beauty of nature, like the gentle breeze in a forest or the dancing light on the water's surface.

Rather than being flashy, the beauty of these pieces lies in their functionality, accompanying daily life. Each time you hold them, they fit comfortably in your hand, lifting your spirits a little. These are glasses embodying the beauty of utility, bringing small joys to your ordinary moments.

Light and shadow shift throughout daily life. Depending on the intensity and angle of the incoming light, the glass shimmers softly, revealing various expressions. Its simple and timeless design adds a gentle touch of color to your unchanging dining table, bringing a peaceful calm that quietly envelops your heart.

As each piece is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, thickness, subtle variations in the ripple pattern, streaks, and small or large air bubbles. Please enjoy these unique expressions as characteristics of handmade items. While you cannot choose which specific item you receive, we hope you look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping, and we will email you photos.

| Understanding "Handcrafted Items" |
|
〇 As each item is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Additionally, even with the same glaze and clay, there may be variations in color and shade. 〇 Since each piece is hand-painted, the expressions may vary. 〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, black spots, hairline scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbles, or distortions. 〇 While we process images to display product colors as close to the actual items as possible, colors and textures may appear differently depending on your computer or smartphone display. 〇 We deliver items that have passed not only the inspections of the manufacturer, kiln, or artist but also our final inspection. 〇 Product photos are samples, so the actual item you receive may not be identical in every detail. 〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer preferences. Please understand and acknowledge this before making a purchase. 〇 We hope you enjoy the "flavor" and "charm" unique to handmade items, which are not found in mass-produced factory goods! |
