The soft glow born from recycled glass
Recycled glass is made from discarded bottles, old window panes, and other materials. Used sake bottles are carefully washed, labels are removed, and then melted in a furnace. Each vessel, crafted using the glassblowing technique, is reborn with a delicate, gentle glow, emanating a sense of warmth.

The experience and techniques gained at Okuhara Glass Manufacturing, a Ryukyu glass workshop in Okinawa, with bold yet delicate hand movements, and moments of synchronicity with the flames. Based on what was learned during her time as a craftsperson, the ripples and undulations she creates, imbued with her own sensibilities, seem to reflect the delicate beauty of nature, like a gentle breeze in the forest or light dancing on the water's surface.

Rather than a flashy presence, the emphasis is on the beauty of a tool that accompanies daily life. Each time you hold it, it feels just right, bringing a little joy to your heart. These glasses embody the beauty of utility, bringing small pleasures to ordinary moments.

Light and shadow shift in daily life. Depending on the strength and angle of the incoming light, the glass subtly shimmers, revealing various expressions. Its simple and timeless design adds a gentle touch of color to the unchanging dinner table, bringing a sense of peace that softly embraces the heart.

As each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, thickness, subtle variations in ripple patterns, streaks, large and small air bubbles, and lines. Please enjoy the rich individuality unique to handmade items. While you cannot choose which item you receive, we hope you look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping, and we will email you photos.

| Understanding "Handmade Products" |
|
〇 Each item is handmade, so there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Additionally, even with the same glaze and clay, there may be color variations and differences in shading. 〇 As each pattern is hand-painted, the expressions may vary. 〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, tiny black dots, fine scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or distortions. 〇 While we process images to make the product photos as close as possible to the actual colors, the colors and textures may appear differently depending on your computer or smartphone display. 〇 We deliver products that have passed not only the inspections of the manufacturer, kiln, or artist, but also our final inspection. 〇 Product photos are samples, so the actual item you receive will not be identical in every detail. 〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer preferences. Please understand and agree to this before making a purchase. 〇 We hope you enjoy the "flavor" and "interest" unique to handmade items, which mass-produced factory goods do not possess! |
