The Gentle Glow of Recycled Glass
Recycled glass is made from materials such as discarded bottles and old windowpanes. Used sake bottles are carefully washed, labels removed, and then melted in a furnace. Each piece, spun using the blown glass technique, is reborn into a vessel that emanates a gentle glow and a sense of warmth.

The experience and techniques honed at Ryukyu Glass Workshop Okuhara Glass Manufacturing in Okinawa. Bold yet delicate hand movements, moments of breathing in unison with the flame. The ripples and undulations, created by layering her own sensibilities on the foundation of what she learned as a craftsperson, seem to reflect the delicate beauty of nature, like the gentle breeze in a forest or light dancing on the water's surface.

Rather than being an ostentatious presence, the beauty of these pieces lies in their role as tools that blend into daily life. Each time you hold one, it feels just right, bringing a slight skip to your heart. These are glasses imbued with the beauty of utility, bringing small joys to everyday moments.

The shifting light and shadow in daily life. Depending on the intensity and angle of the light, the glass shimmers softly, revealing various expressions. The simple, timeless design adds a gentle touch of color to your unchanging dining table, bringing a sense of calm that gently envelops your heart.

Due to being handmade one by one, there may be individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, thickness, subtle variations in the mold pattern,かすれ (scratches/fading), and small and large bubbles or streaks. Please enjoy these as unique expressions of handmade craftsmanship. We cannot guarantee which specific item you will receive, but we hope you will look forward to its arrival. If you are concerned, please contact us before shipping, and we will email you photos.

| Understanding "Handcrafted Items" |
|
〇 Due to being handcrafted one by one, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, and weight. Additionally, even with the same glaze and clay, there may be color variations and differences in shades. 〇 As each design is hand-painted, the expressions may vary. 〇 Depending on the manufacturing process, some products may have small holes, tiny black dots, fine scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbling, or distortions. 〇 We strive to process product images to be as close to the actual colors as possible, but colors and textures may appear different depending on your computer or smartphone display screen. 〇 We deliver items that have passed not only the inspections of the manufacturer, kiln, and artist but also our final inspection. 〇 Product photos are sample shots, so the item you receive will not be identical in every detail. 〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree to this before purchasing. 〇 We hope you enjoy the "flavor" and "interest" unique to handmade items, which cannot be found in mass-produced factory goods! |
