A quiet atmosphere exuding wabi-sabi
The vessels, which seem to embody the flow of time, exude a warmth where the past and present beautifully overlap. While based on Japanese style, they also have a certain dignity reminiscent of Western antiques, and their quiet beauty makes them seem as if they are quietly standing in time.
"Food" is a necessity for living, and at the same time, a joyous time that adds color to life. Each item is carefully crafted with the hope that it will enhance the deliciousness of the food on the plate and shape the atmosphere at the dining table.
The elegant white base is the result of carbonization firing. By firing the pieces together with charcoal, the carbon's fluctuations are reflected in the glaze, and a unique scene is gently engraved on the surface of the piece.
It will gently accompany your ordinary breakfast and gently add a touch of elegance to special, exciting days. It will softly envelop the ordinary scenery of your daily life as if casting a gentle spell, turning your everyday time into a slightly happier one.
Since each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, thickness, uneven glaze, glaze pools, and subtle differences in impression. Also, depending on how the glaze is applied, each piece will have a different appearance, such as the degree of firing color, pinholes, and iron powder (black spots).
