Cute cats make me feel warm and fuzzy

The expression of the cat peeking out from the edge of the cup is so cute that just looking at it warms your heart. The back view is also cute, making you smile without even realizing it.

Beautiful contrast between white and indigo

Blue and white porcelain is made by drawing a design on a white base using a pigment called gosu, which is mainly made of cobalt oxide, and then coating it with a glassy pigment and firing it, which turns the design blue. The beautiful white and blue colors are captivating.

The warmth of hand-drawn art

The lily of the valley is depicted expressively using only the indigo blue of the gosu blue, taking advantage of the different shades of light and dark. As it is drawn freehand, the gentle, soft lines that can only be achieved through handwork give it a warm feel .

Gentle on the palate

A lovely mug with a warmth in its simplicity. The thin rim makes it easy to drink and gives a light taste. It's perfect for your afternoon break, desk work, or to entertain guests.

Since each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in the pattern, color, shade, shape, size, weight, uneven glaze, etc. Also, depending on the condition of the glaze and the characteristics of the clay, each piece has a different appearance, such as the degree of firing color, crazing, pinholes, iron powder (black spots), etc. Please rest assured that this does not affect the use of the product. We hope you will enjoy the unique flavor and individuality of handmade products. You cannot choose which item you will receive, but we hope you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo separately.

Recommended maintenance methods and precautions from Shingama
* Blue and white items with cobalt pigment (gosu paint) can be used in both microwaves and dishwashers, but items with red paint can be used in the microwave but not in the dishwasher.
*For products other than tableware (such as vases or ornaments), please refrain from using electronic devices such as microwaves or dishwashers.
*Please avoid sudden temperature changes such as rapid heating or cooling as this may cause cracks or damage.

Understanding of "Utsuwa"
*Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading.
*Each piece is hand painted, so the expression may vary.
Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process.
*We process the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone.
*In addition to inspection by the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, we only deliver products that have passed final inspection at our store.
*The product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be identical in every detail.
* We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree before making a purchase.
We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" that can only come from something handmade, not mass-produced in a factory!
