Elegant and graceful floral pattern

A gentle and soft touch as if drawn on a canvas. If you serve your food on a flower-patterned bowl drawn with free strokes, it will make it look even more delicious. Floral patterns are drawn on the back and sides, so it's fun just to look at them.

Appearance where you can feel the warm sunlight of Southern Europe

Shiho Tanaka studied painting and designing Maiolica, a traditional pottery in Florence, Italy. The pattern of majolica is painted as a motif, so the elegant and gorgeous floral pattern makes you feel the scenery of Europe.

Lightness that is easy to pick up

Since it is made by pulling it thinly on a potter's wheel, it is not too heavy and is easy to pick up, so it will naturally become more popular. It has a moist and smooth matte texture and is gentle to the touch. Another great point is that the silicone matte glaze makes it difficult for stains and odors to stick.

For salads and fruit platters

It has a mortar shape, so it looks stylish and makes the dishes you serve look beautiful and delicious. With a diameter of about 15-16 cm and a depth of about 5 cm, it is a good size for one person or two. Salads and fruits fit perfectly. Marinated squid and tomatoes, macaroni salad, mashed potatoes, etc. would also be good.

Because each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in pattern, color, shade, shape, size, weight, and glaze unevenness. In addition, depending on the degree of glaze and the characteristics of the soil, each piece has a different appearance, such as the degree of burnt color, penetration, pinholes, and iron powder (black spots). Please rest assured that there is no problem in using it. We hope that you will enjoy the unique taste and individuality of handmade products. You can't choose which item you receive, but we hope you'll look forward to it until it arrives. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a separate photo.

Shiho Tanaka's recommended care method and precautions
〇Porcelain and semi-porcelain bowls are made by thinly rolling them on a potter's wheel, so we do not recommend using them in the microwave or dishwasher.
〇Blinding is not required.
〇Because it is coated with a glaze mixed with silicon, it is difficult to stain and smell.
〇As it may cause stains and odors, do not leave oily dishes on it for a long time, such as with coffee or other dark liquids in it, and wash it off as soon as possible. Also, dry it thoroughly before storing.
〇 If stains or odors appear, pour water into the pot, add a large amount of edible baking soda, and boil for 20-30 minutes.

Understanding of "Utsuwa"
〇Because each product is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, uneven colors and shading will appear.
〇Because the painting is also hand-painted one by one, the expression may differ.
〇 Depending on the product, there may be small holes, small black dots, line scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, or distortion due to the manufacturing process.
〇 We have processed the image of the product so that the color is as close to the real thing as possible, but the color and texture may look different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone.
〇In our shop, we not only inspect the manufacturer, pottery, and artist, but also deliver products that have passed the final inspection at our store.
〇 Product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be the same in detail.
〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer's convenience. Please purchase after understanding and acknowledging this.
〇 We would be happy if you could enjoy the “taste” and “interest” of handmade products that are not found in factory mass-produced products!
