Mingei pottery seeks to live in the present based on inherited traditions and feelings, such as the traditional Mashiko glazes Nami-shiro-yu, Sugar-shiro-yu, and Ame-yu. Nostalgia and newness quietly blend together and shine into your life like light.

Since each piece is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, uneven glaze, glaze pools, and glaze shrinkage. Also, some pieces may have differences in the amount of glaze applied, fading, pinholes, or iron powder (black spots), but this does not affect their use.
