Soft white and shape
It's a soft, milky white color. Its smooth texture feels good to the touch, and the rounded handle fits comfortably in your fingers. When you pick it up, you can't help but stare at it.
Warmth is conveyed through washi dyeing
We use a technique called "washi dyeing," in which a design is drawn on washi paper, cut out and pasted onto the base material to transfer the colors. The finished product has a gentle texture with a sense of charm, such as fading and bleeding.
A bird that looks comfortable
A bird flying comfortably on a gentle breeze. When you see a picture of a bird flying freely in the sky, you naturally feel refreshed.
The other side also features a dyed washi paper design of leaves, which makes you smile.
Warmth of edge rust and toshinogi
The rusted rim of the rim and the finish on the bottom of the mug give the soft milky white a nice balance and accentuate the adorable bird and leaf design, creating a lovely appearance.
Since each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight, fading or bleeding of the pattern, and subtle distortion. In addition, the degree of glaze applied will affect the appearance of each piece, such as the degree of firing color, pinholes, and iron powder (black spots).
