Soft white and shape
A gentle and soft white like milk . The moist and smooth texture feels good to the touch, and the round handle fits comfortably on your fingers. I can't help but pick it up and stare at it.
Washi dyeing that conveys warmth
We use a technique called ``washi dyeing,'' which involves drawing a pattern on washi paper, then pasting the cut pattern onto the base material to transfer the color. The finish has a gentle texture that gives you a sense of charm, such as blurring and smudging.
A cute little horse
The stylish horse design , reminiscent of Japanese folk art or Swedish Dalarna horses, is a nice accent and makes you feel warm.
The other side has a horseshoe dyed on Japanese paper that makes me smile.
Feel the warmth of rim rust and shinogi
The rust on the rim of the mouth and the shinogi on the bottom of the mug perfectly accentuate the soft milky white color , and the adorable horse and horseshoe pattern also makes it look wonderful.
(April 2024: Price changes have been made.)
It is made using a potter's wheel and a mold, but because it is handmade, slight distortions may occur. Also, depending on the temperature of the kiln, the texture may vary slightly even with the same glaze. Please note that this product has a handmade taste. Although you cannot choose which item you receive, we hope that you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a separate photo.

Recommended care methods and precautions from Toshiyuki Haramura |
〇Since porcelain does not absorb water, there is no need to seal it by boiling it for the first time. You can use it as is. Please refrain from using it in the microwave or oven. Ceramics may crack due to sudden temperature changes. Please use kitchen bleach to remove stains such as tea stains. |
Understanding about “Utsuwa” |
〇As each item is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze or clay, uneven colors and shading will appear. 〇As each piece is hand-painted, the expression may vary. 〇Due to the manufacturing process, small holes, small black spots, line scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbles, and distortions may be seen depending on the product. 〇Product images are processed to be as close to the actual color as possible, but the color and texture may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. 〇At our store, we deliver products that have not only been inspected by the manufacturer, pottery, and artist, but also passed a final inspection at our store. 〇Product photos are sample photos, so the items you receive will not be the same in every detail. 〇We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and understand this before purchasing. 〇We would be happy if you could enjoy the ``taste'' and ``interest'' that are unique to handmade products that cannot be found in factory mass-produced products! |
