The "Arboles" series exudes the gentleness of sunlight filtering through the trees. As the name "Arboles" means "trees" in Spanish, it is appealing for its texture reminiscent of the bark of trees and the beauty of its gentle shadows. From the moment you pick it up until you put it back on the shelf after use, it feels as if it is gently nestling next to you. The shades of the glaze and the beautiful fluctuations in the texture. Just like living trees, each piece of pottery has its own unique character, and even if they have the same shape, no two pieces are the same. Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight, warping, distortion, glaze flow, glaze buildup, and firing color. Each piece also has its own unique character, including pinholes and iron powder (black spots). Please rest assured that this will not affect its usability. | Before use, soak in water for about half a day. Allow to dry thoroughly before storing. If the bottom (foot) of the dish is rough, you can smooth it out by rubbing it with fine sandpaper. |
