Appearance that fits perfectly on the dining table
It is made with an awareness of the texture that leaves traces of handwork without being too simple. The natural bending and fluctuations are gentle and comfortable, and the warmth of handwork is transmitted.
Expressive “Kawakujira”
The rim of the mouth is reinforced with an iron glaze, using a decorative technique known as a skin whale. When fired, it turns black and is called whale skin because its color resembles the skin of a whale. The blurring of the rim creates a tasteful look and is wonderful.
Elegantly arranged dishes
Glossy and calming amber color. Even though it has the rough texture of earthenware, it feels smooth . The whale skin on the rim adds to the impression of the vessel, making the dishes look classy.
He/she directs a dining table splendidly
You can enjoy pickled plums, pickles, tsukudani, etc., as well as seasoning plates such as soy sauce and vinegar, as well as jam and butter on top of fresh bread, olives, nuts, spicy bamboo shoots, stingray fins, etc. He/she plays an active part in various scenes.
Because each item is handmade, there are individual differences such as color, shape, size, weight, glaze unevenness, glaze pools, distortion and deflection, and subtle differences in patterns. In addition, there may be pinholes, iron powder (black spots), and penetration, but there is no problem with use. Please enjoy it as a unique expression unique to handmade. You can't choose which item you receive, but we hope you'll look forward to it until it arrives. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a separate photo, so please feel free to contact us.

Recommended maintenance method from Tsukizoeharu |
〇Since it is semi-porcelain, it is basically not necessary to seal it. 〇As an easy way to seal the eyes, soak it in rice water for about 20-30 minutes, then rinse it off and dry it thoroughly before using. Clean with bleach |
Understanding of "Utsuwa" |
〇Because each product is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, uneven colors and shading will appear. 〇Because the painting is also hand-painted one by one, the expression may differ. 〇 Depending on the product, there may be small holes, small black dots, line scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, or distortion due to the manufacturing process. 〇 We have processed the image of the product so that the color is as close to the real thing as possible, but the color and texture may look different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. 〇In our shop, we not only inspect the manufacturer, pottery, and artist, but also deliver products that have passed the final inspection at our store. 〇 Product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be the same in detail. 〇 We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer's convenience. Please purchase after understanding and acknowledging this. 〇 We would be happy if you could enjoy the “taste” and “interest” of handmade products that are not found in factory mass-produced products! |
