A serene presence that evokes wabi-sabi
The vessel, as if imbued with the flow of time, carries the warmth of beautifully layered past and present. While rooted in Japanese aesthetics, it also possesses a certain antique Western gravitas, and its quiet beauty seems to stand gently within time itself.
"Food" is an act of living, and at the same time, a joyful moment that adds color to life. Each piece is carefully crafted with the desire for it to enhance the deliciousness of the food served and to shape the very atmosphere of the dining table.
Beautiful openwork that holds a hint of transience. Light and shadow softly traverse the vessel, allowing you to enjoy its delicate expressions depending on the viewing angle and the amount of light. The tasteful white base is created through "carbonization firing." By firing with charcoal, fluctuations of carbon are reflected in the glaze, and a unique landscape is gently etched onto the surface of the vessel.
It gently accompanies an ordinary morning meal and adds a quiet flourish to a special day that fills your heart with joy. As if casting a gentle spell, it softly envelops the mundane scenery of everyday life and seems to transform ordinary moments into slightly happier ones.
As each item is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, thickness, glaze irregularities and pooling, and subtle differences in impression. Also, depending on the glaze application, the firing color, pinholes, iron powder (black spots), etc., will have different appearances. Please be assured that there are no problems with use.
