Lovely flowers

These lovely flowers are drawn with a gentle touch. The slightly blurred outlines of the flowers make them look like a scene from a picture book, and looking at them warms the heart.

Yukiko Nagahama's flower soup mug and white plate

Since each piece is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, uneven glaze, and glaze pools. Some pieces may have crazing, pinholes, or iron powder (black spots), but this does not affect their use. Please enjoy them as a unique expression that can only be achieved through handmade products. If you have any concerns, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo separately.

Yukiko Nagahama's recommended care methods and precautions
We recommend that you seal the pores before first use. Place the container and rice water (if you don't have rice water, you can add a little flour to the water) in a pot so that it covers the container, and place on low-medium heat. Once it starts to boil, turn the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let it cool naturally. Once it has cooled, wash it with a mild detergent and dry it thoroughly before using it again. Sealing the pores can help prevent some of the stains, such as color stains and oil stains. It's a hassle, but taking the time will allow you to enjoy your favorite container for a long time.
*If you use a dishwasher, we recommend washing by hand as the water pressure and vibrations during the wash may cause dishes to collide or fall over, resulting in damage such as cracks or chips.

Understanding of "Utsuwa"
*Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading.
*Each piece is hand painted, so the expression may vary.
Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process.
*We process the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone.
*In addition to inspection by the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, we only deliver products that have passed final inspection at our store.
*The product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be identical in every detail.
* We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree before making a purchase.
We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" that can only come from something handmade, not mass-produced in a factory!
