Adorable expression
The bear has a blank look on its face with its mouth open. It looks like it wants to say something, and its adorable expression is so cute that just looking at it will warm your heart and make you feel relaxed.

Ancient Essence
She loves the shapes and decorations of creatures from the ancient Orient and the Jomon period, and is fascinated by expressions that are hard to understand and humor that is not intentional. She feels an indescribable cuteness that seems to mix the essence of ancient and modern times.

Just looking at it makes me feel happy
Kato-san says he loves to observe the various movements and expressions of the bears at the bear ranch. Perhaps this strong curiosity is what creates the bears' charming expressions.

Make your dining table fun and cute
This cute rimmed plate features a carefree bear face. It can be used as a breakfast plate with toast, ham and eggs, and salad, or as a snack plate with chiffon cake and mille-feuille. It will lift your spirits and make any occasion special.

Because each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, uneven glaze, glaze pools, stone cracks, slight rattling, and subtle differences in the designs and patterns. There may also be differences in the amount of glaze applied, crazing, pinholes, or iron powder (black spots), but this does not affect the use of the piece. Please enjoy the unique expressions that can only be achieved through handmade items. You cannot choose which item you will receive, but we hope you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo separately, so please feel free to contact us.

Recommended care methods and precautions from Miki Kato |
*The porcelain has been sealed, so it is safe to use as is. *Powdered tableware is made up of three layers: base, decorative clay, and glaze, and is prone to chipping by nature. Please be careful not to hit the rim when handling it. |
Understanding of "Utsuwa" |
*Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading. *Each piece is hand painted, so the expression may vary. Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process. *We process the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. *In addition to inspection by the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, we only deliver products that have passed final inspection at our store. *The product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be identical in every detail. * We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree before making a purchase. We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" that can only come from something handmade, not mass-produced in a factory! |
