Soft textured ivory
A matte white gratin dish with a slightly yellowish ivory hue. The browning here and there creates a lovely atmosphere. The inside is smooth, while the outside has a slightly rough texture that reminds you of earth. The gratin served in this tasteful dish is especially delicious.
Chic handle with a warm feel
The handles on the sides are lovely and give off a warm feeling. The subtle differences in the shapes of the left and right sides also give off a warm feeling that can only come from something handmade. Just placing it on the table makes it look like a painting, and it will add a stylish touch to your table.
For dishes other than gratin
The large size of the pot, measuring approximately 21 cm in diameter and 4.5 cm in depth, makes it suitable for a variety of dishes. It is perfect for small parties, such as ajillo, aqua pazza, paella, and grilled fish and vegetables.
Heat resistant so it can be used on a direct flame or in an oven
The heat-resistant tableware can be used over an open flame or in an oven. However, as with all tableware, it is vulnerable to sudden changes in temperature and may crack or break, so please avoid rapid cooling or heating.
Since each piece is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, thickness, size, weight, uneven glaze, glaze pools, slight wobble, and patterns and designs. Also, there may be differences in the amount of glaze applied, crazing, pinholes, or iron powder (black spots), but this does not affect the use of the item. Please enjoy the unique expressions that can only be achieved through handmade products. You cannot choose which item you will receive, but we hope you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo separately.

Recommended care methods and precautions from Noriko Yoshinaga |
No need to seal before use *We recommend hand washing to ensure the product lasts a long time, as using a dishwasher can cause cracks and chips. |
Understanding of "Utsuwa" |
*Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading. *Each piece is hand painted, so the expression may vary. Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process. *We process the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. *In addition to inspection by the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, we only deliver products that have passed final inspection at our store. *The product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be identical in every detail. * We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree before making a purchase. We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" that can only come from something handmade, not mass-produced in a factory! |
