Soft white, gentle to the touch
The soft, milky white color is smooth to the touch. The shades of rust glaze on the edges of the piece tighten it up, making the bear stand out even more vividly, and just looking at it will warm your heart.
Warmth is conveyed through washi dyeing
We use a technique called "washi dyeing," in which a design is drawn on washi paper, cut out and pasted onto the base material to transfer the colors. The finished product has a gentle texture with a sense of charm, such as fading and bleeding.
A cute bear pops out
The bear stands on two legs , as if watching over us from afar. Its puzzled expression is heartwarming.
Perfect for when you want to post something quickly
The size is about 9cm in height and 12cm in width. It's perfect for serving small snacks and side dishes. You can put nuts or cookies on it when you're hungry or feeling a bit peckish, or use it as a side dish or condiment plate. It's also recommended to use it as an accessory tray.
Because each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, weight, uneven glaze, and subtle differences in the pattern. In addition, even the same glaze may have a slightly different texture depending on the temperature of the kiln. Please enjoy the unique expressions that can only be achieved through handmade products. You cannot choose which item you will receive, but we hope you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please contact us before shipping and we will email you a photo.

Recommended care methods and precautions from Toshiyuki Haramura |
* Porcelain is not absorbent, so there is no need to seal it by boiling it before use. You can use it as is. |
Understanding of "Utsuwa" |
*Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze and clay, there will be uneven color and shading. *Each piece is hand painted, so the expression may vary. Depending on the product, small holes, small black spots, scratches, protrusions, pinholes, rattling, and distortions may be found due to the manufacturing process. *We process the product images to make them as close to the actual colors as possible, but the colors and textures may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. *In addition to inspection by the manufacturer, kiln, and artist, we only deliver products that have passed final inspection at our store. *The product photos are sample shots, so the items you receive will not be identical in every detail. * We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and agree before making a purchase. We hope you enjoy the unique "flavor" and "interestingness" that can only come from something handmade, not mass-produced in a factory! |
