Soft patterns unique to Japanese paper dyeing
Adorable hippo pattern. We use a technique called ``washi dyeing,'' which involves drawing a pattern on washi paper, cutting it out, and pasting it onto the base material to transfer the color. The blue color on the torso is dyed with washi paper, and the brown and gray areas on the limbs are hand-painted one by one with a brush. The hazy, scratchy texture makes you feel warm and at ease.
three cute hippos
The soft texture of the clay is dyed with washi paper depicting three hippos, giving it a heartwarming and gentle atmosphere. I'm happy to be able to look at the hippo whether I hold it with my right or left hand .
Light and easy to hold
It's just the right amount of weight and the handle on the top makes it easy to hold and use, so you'll find yourself reaching for it. The overall feel is smooth and gentle to the touch. The rust color on the rim is a very tasteful mug with its shading and smudging.
makes you feel happy
It has a cute Japanese paper dyed hippopotamus, so it's perfect for breakfast coffee, tea, or soup. It also makes snack time with your child or tea time with family and friends a bright and fun mood. It is also fashionable and cute to use a flower plate as a saucer.
Because each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color, shape, size, weight, uneven coloring, uneven baking, uneven glaze/glaze pools, and subtle differences in the pattern . In addition, there may be differences in the degree of glaze application, fading, pinholes, and iron powder (sunspots), but this does not cause any problems with use. Please enjoy the unique expression that can only be achieved by handmade products. Although you cannot choose which item you receive, we hope that you will look forward to receiving it. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us before shipping and we will email you a separate photo.

Understanding about “Utsuwa” |
〇As each item is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, pattern, size, thickness, weight, etc. Also, even with the same glaze or clay, uneven colors and shading will appear. 〇As each piece is hand-painted, the expression may vary. 〇Due to the manufacturing process, small holes, small black spots, line scratches, protrusions, pinholes, wobbles, and distortions may be seen depending on the product. 〇Product images are processed to be as close to the actual color as possible, but the color and texture may appear different depending on the display screen of your computer or smartphone. 〇At our store, we deliver products that have not only been inspected by the manufacturer, pottery, and artist, but also passed a final inspection at our store. 〇Product photos are sample photos, so the items you receive will not be the same in every detail. 〇We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience. Please understand and understand this before purchasing. 〇We would be happy if you could enjoy the ``taste'' and ``interest'' that are unique to handmade products that cannot be found in factory mass-produced products! |
